Simplicity 2195 & Jalie 3024
I made Simplicity 2195 to wear to the Kenny Chesney Concert. I cut a size 20 in the shoulders and neckline and out to the largest size at the hips. I didn't use the facing pieces. I hate facings on knits, actually I just hate facings period. I bound the neckline with crosswise cut fabric. I had large pieces of fabric left so I cut out Jalie 3024 for two of my granddaughters. They are thick as thieves and love matching each other. I love this pattern for a quick and easy dress. The girls love them. I don't remember where I got the blue knit I've had it for awhile. The black knit w/ silver skulls is from fabric.com. I added length to the dresses but they are still short. Will add more length next time. And a picture of Mr. Finnegan and his newest idea of fun. He steals paper plates and chews and throws them all over the place. He is one crazy kitten.
