Damask Jeans for Megan
I used Vogue 8774 and Damask Denim from Mood Fabrics. I saw Katie's blog showing her jeans she made from this fabric and ordered some that day. I'm really pleased with them. Megan has a hard time finding jeans to fit so this will be the first but not the last of this pattern. The fit was good right out of the pattern. It has a much smaller waist than RTW jeans. No Gap at the back. She thinks the bottom of the legs are to loose so will be taking them in about 1/4" down both sides from above the knee down to the hem. These run pretty short. Megan is barely 5' 5" and they are just long enough. Will add an inch next time. I made them a little snug on purpose because Megan broke her foot running on the treadmill at the gym and has put on a few extra pounds. She wants red jeans next. I lined the pocket & made the zipper protector with a polka dot cotton.Huckleberry and Finn wanted in the pictures.
