Vogue 8580- Traced and ready for alterations

I traced off Vogue 8580 last night after dinner. I started to make alterations but got sleepy and quit before I started making mistakes. I'm a morning person and I've learned not to work on sewing projects when I'm tired. I just end up re-doing it over and over again. I realized as I was tracing it that it was very close to the last top I made Simplicity 2773. I could have used that pattern and changed it up to look like this but oh well already had it traced out. I really liked the Khaliah Ali pattern. It was easy to adjust for narrow shoulders and FBA. Hopefully this pattern will be easy to adjust too.

  3. As a fellow "morning person", I know what you mean about sewing when sleepy (been there, done that). I have V8580 and am thinking of making it this summer. I'll be interested in what you think of it.

  4. I need that first pattern! It looks just like what I've been hunting in the stores all spring and summer.

  5. That top would make a great garment. I recently purchased Khaliah Ali 2566 pattern, totally like all the pieces.

  6. I love both patterns.I would love to sew for my self but the last time I tried to sew for myself I was making a dress for my daughter's wedding and when I finshed it wouldn't fit my size 2 daughter let alone me a size 12.I do not know what I did wrong.
